Sheltering Arms Everyday Heroes Gala

This theme celebrates the heroic achievements of the Sheltering Arms’ children and families as well as the generosity of their supporters who are heroes to their families. New York city has been the setting for popular superhero stories and was the birthplace of the classic comic hero, which they would like to evoke at the event.
To create something fun, I used their kids’ photo and stylize the images, incorporating color blocks, long shadow and dots to evoke Roy Lichtenstein comic art. I also incorporate New York City skyline to the primary visual design to emphasize the important part of Sheltering Arms brand. The goal is to create a fun, urban superhero theme. The theme of the event stays classy and upscale, while still being fun.
